Thinking

As I lay in bed at night, I explore the many paths in my mind. I recall events from the past that had an effect on me. I try and make sense of them, but instead I find myself more confused than what I started out to be. The poems comes from deep within my mind. It is a combination of all my thoughts, memories and uncommon sense. It is a representation of what happens within my mind as I go through my everyday life. The poem speaks for itself, so there isn't much to say.

The deeper you walk into your mind
The easier it is to get lost
In your own darkened thoughts
Fear is what you will find
Through the paths of lost memories
You discover forgotten pain
Flashbacks of olden days
Feeling all the extremities
You may see a slight connection
Though the path is endless
Shortly you’ll be lost again
And you will feel the tension
